My Comment: The jets are old but the missiles look like they are functional. Either way .... more weapons for their arsenal.

The battle of Tabqa AB is a very importat story but the big picture is not yet clear. I will write a small summary of it during the weekend, and it may could help to understand what and how happened. About the MANPAD image, some sources claim that it was shot in a different Airbase in Syria, not in Tabqa, and this is very likely.
